Accessories and replacement parts

~2min read

Seek advice before buying accessories and replacement parts.

Your vehicle offers a high level of active and passive safety.

For retrofitting accessories or replacing certain parts, seek advice from an Audi workshop.

Your Audi dealership will be glad to advise you on the usefulness, legal requirements and factory recommendations regarding accessories and replacement parts.

We recommend using only Audi accessories and genuine Audi parts® on your vehicle. Audi has tested these accessories and parts for reliability and safety and has confirmed that they are suitable for fitting to your vehicle. Audi workshops, of course, also fit them professionally.

Even if, in some cases, an approval from the relevant authorities or another official authorization has been granted for other parts/accessories, we cannot judge, despite constant market monitoring, whether these parts are suitable for fitting to your vehicle, and we cannot accept liability if they are used.

Subsequently fitted devices that directly affect the driver's control of the vehicle, such as cruise control or electronically controlled dampers, must carry the e mark (European Union approval symbol) and be approved by Audi.

Connecting other electrical equipment that does not affect the driver's direct control of the vehicle, such as refrigerators, computers or fans, is only permitted if the equipment bears the CE mark (the manufacturer's declaration of conformity within the European Union).

WARNING

Never mount accessories such as phone holders or cup holders on the trim panels or in the airbag deployment zone. Risk of injury if the airbag deploys.
