Removing the bulb holder

The bulb holder must be removed in order to replace the bulbs.

There are four retaining tabs on the inside of the tail light.

• Release the retaining tabs (A) => Fig. 269.
• Remove the bulb holder in the direction of the arrow (B).
• Replacing a defective bulb

Replacing bulbs

All bulbs on the bulb holder can be replaced easily.

The bulbs are secured by a bayonet lock.

The bulb assignments are shown in the table below.

• Press lightly on the defective bulb in the holder, then turn it to the left and remove it.
• Insert the new bulb, press it into the socket and turn the bulb to the right as far as it will go.
• Wipe the bulb with a cloth to remove fingerprints.
• Check that the bulbs light up.
• Reinstall the bulb holder
