Storage
This chapter covers the inductive charging station in the BMW 5 Series G30. The Wireless Charging function allows compatible smartphones to be charged wirelessly, simply by placing them in the designated tray. An LED indicator shows the current charging status. The system automatically detects whether a device is correctly positioned and warns of foreign objects or overheating. Particularly convenient: the charging station is paired with NFC and, in combination with BMW apps, also enables vehicle access or start authorization. For anyone who wants to do without cables, this is a smart, elegant solution for everyday use.
Vehicle equipment
This chapter describes all standard, country-specific and optional equipment offered in the model series. It therefore also describes equipment that is not available in a given vehicle, for example due to the selected optional equipment or country variant. This also applies to safety-related functions and systems. When using the corresponding functions and systems, observe the applicable laws and regulations.

The storage solutions in the BMW 5 Series G30/G31 are designed to meet a wide range of everyday needs. Whether glove compartments, door pockets or center armrests, there are well-thought-out options for storing personal items securely and within easy reach. Small details such as the integrated pockets on the backrests also make the vehicle more practical to use.
Particular attention is paid to safety aspects: instructions on properly securing items and avoiding injury risks show how highly BMW values safety. The design is also intended to combine functionality and elegance, from the cover for the cup holders to the concealed storage compartments.
In this way, the BMW 5 Series G30/G31 demonstrates that interior comfort means far more than just space. It is a combination of well-thought-out details, safety and aesthetics.
