Replacing the battery

The electronic key with comfort access function contains a battery that must be replaced from time to time.

1. Remove the integrated mechanical key from the electronic key.
2. Remove the cover.

3. Insert the new battery with the positive pole facing up.
4. Close the cover.

Dispose of the used battery at a collection point or at a BMW service center.◄
