Operating Principle

The alarm system responds to:

► opening of the passenger compartment doors, hood, trunk lid, luggage compartment door or its glass;
► movement inside the vehicle (interior monitoring system, see below);
► change in vehicle tilt, for example, when an attempt is made to steal a wheel or when towing;
► interruption of battery power.

The alarm responds to unauthorized actions differently, depending on the export version of the vehicle, namely:

► the alarm sounds for 30 seconds;
► the hazard warning lights turn on for approximately 5 minutes.
