Indicator Lamp Signals

► The indicator lamp below the interior rearview mirror flashes at slow intervals – the vehicle is armed and the alarm system is active.

► The indicator lamp flashes after locking the vehicle – passenger compartment doors, trunk lid (luggage compartment door or its glass) are not fully closed. Even if no action is taken, the alarm will arm the other vehicle systems, and after 10 seconds the indicator lamp will switch to slow flashing. However, the interior monitoring system will remain off.

► The indicator lamp goes out after unlocking the vehicle – no one has tampered with the vehicle in your absence.

► After unlocking the vehicle, the indicator lamp flashes until the key is inserted into the ignition switch, but no longer than 5 minutes – unauthorized persons have shown interest in the vehicle in your absence.
