Air Conditioning Filter

This filter removes dust and other airborne particles that enter the passenger compartment through the heating and ventilation system.

Driving with a clogged filter element may cause the engine cooling fan to overheat and fail.

• For the filter replacement interval, refer to the "MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE" section in the maintenance manual.

FILTER REPLACEMENT

1. Remove the 4 screws from the filter cover under the glove box.

2. Remove the filter cover.

Sharp parts around the filter can cut your hands.

• Always wear protective gloves when replacing the air conditioning filter.

3. Replace the air conditioning filter.

When installing the new filter, make sure it is positioned correctly relative to the airflow.
