FUSES

Fuse replacement:

1. Open the fuse box cover.

2. Locate the blown fuse (by the melted element).

3. Remove the blown fuse using the fuse puller. The fuse puller is located in the engine compartment fuse box.

• Do not use electrically conductive tools to remove a blown fuse. Only use the special fuse puller.

Using metal tools may cause a short circuit, damage the electrical system or cause a fire.

Serious injury may result.

4. Determine the cause of the blown fuse and correct the problem.

5. Install a new fuse that meets the specifications listed in this manual.

(Refer to "Fuse Box Layout" later in this section.)

Installing a substitute fuse, a fuse of the wrong type, or a fuse with a different current rating may damage the electrical circuits or cause a fire.
• Only use fuses specified in this manual. Do not install other fuse types or fuses with different maximum current ratings.

Failure to follow this requirement may result in injury, vehicle damage or damage to other property.

The engine compartment fuse box contains 3 spare fuses (10 A, 15 A and 25 A).
