Sunroof
Sunroof tilt linked to vehicle speed
In this manual: Sunroof
~1min read
Performance
To reduce aerodynamic noise, the sunroof tilt is automatically reduced when the vehicle speed is greater than 80 km/h
Conditions
If the sunroof is tilted to a position greater than the minimum tilt position
AND IF the vehicle speed is greater than 80 km/h
Note: The sunroof automatically returns to its initial tilt position when the speed drops below the threshold of 5 km/h.
Operation
| STEP | DESCRIPTION |
| 1 | The BSI sends the vehicle speed information via VAN CAR 2. |
| 2 | The sunroof control module acquires the vehicle speed information. |
| 3 | The sunroof control unit compares the vehicle speed with the programmed threshold value |
| 4 | If the vehicle speed is above the programmed threshold, the sunroof opens slightly to the minimum vent position. |
Deactivation
A subsequent command overriding the speed-linked vent control, by pressing the sunroof switch, remains possible. A subsequent command has two possible consequences depending on the aftersales coding performed:
- the speed-linked vent function is disabled until the next vehicle ignition-off,
- The speed-linked vent function remains active. However, only closing and sliding of the sunroof are possible.
