The daytime running lights function consists of permanently controlling the dipped beams when the lighting switch is in the “0” position, from the +APC position with the engine running. These lights switch off when the ignition key is turned from the +APC position to the +ACC position.

Manual controls always take priority. The daytime running light function can be programmed at the factory.

Important: When the vehicle is set to daytime running lights, its 'Automatic Lights Switching On' function is disabled. Furthermore, there is no lighting extension for vehicles configured with daytime running lights.
