OVERVIEW

Multiplexing differs from the former electrical technology.

Multiplexing consists of transmitting several digital signals between various electrical units over a single transmission channel made up of 2 wires.

BENEFITS OF MULTIPLEXING

Multiplexing allows:

  • simplification of the wiring harnesses,
  • an increase in the number of functions (for the same number of wires).
