Refuelling

  • turn the key a quarter turn to open or close,
  • during refuelling, place the cap at position A,
  • fill the tank, but do not force the nozzle beyond the third automatic cut-off; this could cause malfunctions of your vehicle.

Refuelling must be done with the engine off and the ignition switched off.

For the petrol engine with catalytic converter, unleaded petrol is mandatory.

Fuel top-ups must be more than 5 litres to be registered by the fuel gauge. The filler neck has a narrower orifice that only accepts unleaded petrol. Opening the fuel cap may produce an air suction noise. This vacuum, which is completely normal, is caused by the fuel system being sealed.

! With Stop & Start, never refuel when the engine is in STOP mode; always switch off the ignition with the key.
