System managing the duration of use of certain functions in order to preserve sufficient battery charge.

After the engine is switched off, you can still use, for a maximum cumulative duration of thirty minutes, functions such as the audio and telematics system, the wipers, the dipped headlights, the interior lights...

Entering the mode

Once these thirty minutes have elapsed, a message indicating entry into energy saving mode appears on the multifunction display and the active functions are put on standby.

If a telephone call is in progress at the same time:

  • it will be maintained for 5 minutes with the hands-free kit of the radio-CD,
  • it will be cut off after 10 minutes with the MyWay audio navigation system,
  • however, it may continue until it ends with the NaviDrive system.

This time may be considerably reduced if the battery charge is low.

These functions will be reactivated automatically the next time the vehicle is used.
