Installing radio transmitters

Before fitting any radio transmitters as an aftermarket installation, with an external antenna on your vehicle, we advise you to contact a CITROËN dealer.

The CITROËN network will provide you with the specifications of the transmitters (frequency band, maximum output power, antenna position, specific installation conditions) that may be fitted, in accordance with the Automotive Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive (2004/104/EC). Depending on the legislation in force in your country, high-visibility safety vests, warning triangles, spare bulbs and spare fuses are mandatory on board the vehicle.

! Fitting an electrical device or accessory not approved by CITROËN may cause a fault in your vehicle's electronic system and increased fuel consumption.

Please note this point, and we advise you to contact a CITROËN representative to be shown the range of listed equipment or accessories.

* La masse de la remorque freinée peut être, dans la limite du MTRA, augmentée

* The braked trailer weight may be increased up to the MTRA, provided the MTAC of the towing vehicle is reduced by the same amount; caution: towing with a lightly loaded towing vehicle may adversely affect its road holding.

The MTRA and towable load values shown are valid up to an altitude of 1,000 metres; the towable load stated must be reduced by 10% for each additional 1,000-metre step.

When towing with a vehicle, it is forbidden to exceed a speed of 100 km/h (observe the legislation in force in your country).

High outside temperatures may cause a reduction in vehicle performance to protect the engine; when the outside temperature is above 37 °C, reduce the towed load.
