Temporary tyre repair kit
The kit is located in the boot, under the floor.
This repair kit is available from CITROËN dealers. It is designed to repair punctures up to 6 mm in diameter, located exclusively on the tread or shoulder of the tyre. Avoid removing any foreign object that has penetrated the tyre. Using the kit
- Switch off the ignition.
- Stick the speed limit sticker on the steering wheel to remind you that a temporary-use wheel is fitted.

- Check that switch A is set to position "0".
- Connect the hose from bottle 1 to the valve of the tyre to be repaired.

- Connect the compressor's power plug to the vehicle's 12V socket.
- Start the vehicle and leave the engine running.

- Switch on the compressor by setting switch A to position "1" until the tyre pressure reaches 2.0 bar.

- Disconnect the compressor, unclip the bottle and store it in a sealed bag so the vehicle is not soiled by traces of liquid.
- Drive immediately for about three kilometres at reduced speed (between 20 and 60 km/h) to seal the puncture.
- Stop to check the repair and the tyre pressure.

- Connect the compressor hose directly to the valve of the repaired wheel.

- Reconnect the compressor's power plug to the vehicle's 12V socket.
- Start the vehicle again and leave the engine running.

- Adjust the pressure using the compressor (to inflate: switch A to position "1"; to deflate: switch A to position "0" and press button B), according to the tyre pressure label on the vehicle (located on the driver's door edge), then check that the leak is sealed (no further pressure loss after several kilometres).
- Remove the compressor, then stow the complete kit.
- Drive at reduced speed (maximum 80 km/h), and do not drive more than approximately 200 km.
- Go to a CITROËN dealer as soon as possible so that a technician can repair or replace the tyre.
! Caution: the bottle contains ethylene glycol. This product is harmful if swallowed and irritates the eyes. Keep this product out of reach of children.
The expiry date of the fluid is printed on the bottle.
The bottle is single-use. Even if partly used, it must be replaced.
After use, do not dispose of the bottle in the environment. Return it to a CITROËN dealer or to an authorised collection point.
Remember to restock with a new bottle of sealant, available from CITROËN dealers. If the vehicle is fitted with tyre under-inflation detection, the under-inflation warning light will stay on after the wheel has been repaired until the system is reset by a CITROËN dealer.Test yourself
