After connecting the battery, switch on the ignition and wait 1 minute before operating the starter to initialise the electronic systems.

If any problems occur, contact a CITROËN dealer or a specialist workshop.

Using the information in the relevant sections, you must personally initialise certain equipment, such as:

  • the key with remote control,
  • electric window lifts,
  • date and time,
  • stored radio stations.
While driving after the first engine start, the Stop & Start function may not operate. In this case, the function will only become available after an uninterrupted stop, the duration of which depends on the ambient temperature and the battery state of charge (up to approximately 8 hours).
