Special features of the LPG version
LPG-powered vehicles
These vehicles run on both petrol and LPG.
They are fitted with two separate tanks.
What is LPG
LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) is a liquefied petroleum gas.
It is recognised by its distinctive smell.
Installing an LPG system in the vehicle may change the vehicle's characteristics compared with the petrol version. This may affect the number of seats, masses (permitted loads) and towing capacity. Contact an Authorised Dacia Partner.
LPG/petrol fuel mode selector C
Allows switching from one fuel mode to the other.
Green indicator lamp D
When lit, the indicator lamp shows that LPG mode is selected.
Yellow indicator lamp 8
When lit, the indicator lamp shows that petrol mode is selected.
LPG fuel level indicator lamps A
Indicator lamps A (4 green and 1 red) show the LPG tank fill level (1 indicator lamp = approx. 1/5 of tank capacity).
The red indicator lamp indicates fuel reserve.
The quantity of LPG shown is approximate.
The red indicator lamp means the tank is almost empty and the engine is running on reserve (approx. 11–13 litres).
If the yellow warning lamp is on while the green indicator lamp flashes slowly and an audible signal sounds, contact an Authorised Dacia Partner for a check.Changing fuel while driving

It is recommended to use fuel mode selector C after starting the vehicle.
Switching from petrol to LPG
Press selector C. The switch to LPG takes place after the first acceleration.
The LPG fuel level indicator A comes on.
Yellow indicator lamp 8 goes out and green indicator lamp D flashes rapidly, then stays on steadily, confirming that LPG mode has been selected.

Switching from LPG to petrol
Release the accelerator pedal and press selector C.
Petrol mode is indicated by yellow indicator lamp 8.
Automatic switch to petrol mode
The system switches automatically to petrol mode if there is no LPG in the tank. This is indicated by:
- green D and yellow 8 indicator lamps coming on;
- an audible signal.
Pressing C switches off the audible signal, and only yellow indicator lamp 8 remains on.
Malfunctions
In the event of a malfunction the engine may stop running correctly. The system will then switch automatically from LPG to petrol mode.
This is confirmed by:
- yellow indicator lamp 8 coming on;
- slow flashing of green indicator lamp D;
- an audible signal.
Driving in difficult conditions
When driving in difficult conditions (loaded vehicle, high outside temperature, pulling away on a slope, etc.), it is recommended to switch to petrol mode.
In the event of an accident
The main precautions are the same as for a petrol-powered vehicle:
- apply the parking brake;
- switch off the engine (the safety device that cuts off the LPG supply to the engine activates automatically);
- switch off the ignition;
- comply with locally applicable regulations.
- immediately switch to petrol mode and make sure there is no source of ignition in the vicinity of the vehicle;
- contact an Authorised Dacia Partner.
Do not touch, strike or dismantle any component of the LPG system.
