Driving assistance systems

~1min read

Depending on the vehicle version, they include:

  • ABS (anti-lock braking system);
  • ESC electronic stability control with understeer control on bends and ASR anti-slip regulation;
  • emergency brake assist system;
  • hill start assist system.
These functions provide additional assistance in critical situations, adapting vehicle behaviour to specific driving conditions. However, they do not replace the driver. Their operation does not increase the capabilities of the vehicle and should not encourage the driver to drive faster. During manoeuvres, the systems never replace the driver, who must remain alert and drive responsibly (the driver should always be prepared for sudden events that may occur while driving).
