Replacing the transmitter battery

Unscrew screw 1 to remove the transmitter cover.

Batteries are available from an Authorised Dacia Partner; their service life is approximately two years. Check that there are no traces of ink on the battery: risk of poor electrical contact.

Replace battery 2, observing the polarity marked on the cover.

Note: when replacing the battery, it is advisable not to touch the electronic circuit inside the key casing.

When refitting, make sure the cover is correctly clipped in place and the screw is correctly tightened.

Do not dispose of used batteries in the environment; hand them over to a unit responsible for collecting and recycling batteries.
