Replacing the front wiper blades 1

• With the ignition off, lift the wiper arm 3,
• turn the blade until resistance is felt (movement A)
• press the tab 2 and slide the blade downward until tab 4 is released from the wiper arm (movement D);
• slide the blade (movement C), then lift it (movement B) and remove it.

Replacing the rear wiper blade 6

• With the ignition off, lift the rear wiper arm 5;
• turn blade 6 until resistance is felt;
• remove the wiper blade by pulling it (movement E).

Fitting the front or rear wiper blade

Carry out the above steps in reverse order. Check that the wiper blade is locked in place.

• Clean the blades and the front and rear windscreen regularly with water and a little soap;
• Do not use the blades when the front or rear windscreen is dry;
• Lift the blades off the front or rear windscreen when they have not been used for a long time.

• In freezing conditions, make sure the wiper blades are not frozen to the windscreen by ice (risk of overheating the wiper motor).
• Check the condition of the wiper blades regularly. Replace them as soon as their effectiveness decreases: on average once a year.

When replacing a blade, while it is removed, make sure the wiper arm does not fall back onto the windscreen: risk of breaking the glass.
