Przebicie opony, koło zapasowe

Depending on the vehicle version, in the event of a puncture the vehicle is equipped with the following: Spare wheel or tyre inflation kit (see following pages).

Spare Tire

It is located in the boot.

To access it, you must:

  • Open the boot;
  • depending on the vehicle version, remove the luggage compartment cover or fold it back to its end position;
  • raise the floor covering upright, pushing it against the rear seat backrest or the folded luggage compartment cover, if the vehicle is fitted with one;
  • unscrew the central bolt 1;
  • remove the spare wheel 2.
Note: check that the spare wheel, or the wheel with the punctured tyre, and the spare wheel well are in place, so that the boot floor covering is correctly positioned. After refitting, check that the floor covering is correctly seated in its retainers so as not to damage it (if the vehicle is fitted with them). If the spare wheel has been stored for many years, have it checked at a service station to confirm that it still has the correct specifications and can be used safely. Vehicles equipped with a spare wheel that differs from the other wheels:
  • Never fit more than one spare wheel to the same vehicle.
  • The vehicle's wheels are larger than the spare wheel, so ground clearance will be reduced.
  • Replace the spare wheel with a wheel identical to the original factory wheel as soon as possible.
  • When using this spare wheel, do not exceed the speed indicated on the sticker on the rim.
  • Using this wheel may change the vehicle's normal handling. Avoid sudden acceleration or braking and reduce speed when cornering.
  • If snow chains need to be fitted, mount the spare wheel on the rear axle and check the tyre pressures.
