Switch on the hazard warning lights. Park the vehicle away from traffic on a flat, non-slippery, firm surface (if necessary, place a board under the jack base). Apply the parking brake and engage a gear (first or reverse). Make sure all passengers leave the vehicle and stay clear of the traffic zone.

Vehicles equipped with a jack and wheel brace

If necessary, remove the decorative wheel trim.

Loosen the wheel bolts with wheel brace 3. Position the wheel brace so that you turn it downwards, not upwards.

If the vehicle is not equipped with a jack, wheel brace, etc., these items can be obtained from an Authorised Dacia Partner. When parking on the roadside, warn other road users of the vehicle's presence using a warning triangle or other warning devices required by the local regulations of the country you are in.

Position jack 4 horizontally. Its hook must be at the height of the reinforcement on plate 1, as close as possible to the wheel being changed, at the point marked with arrow 2.

Initially tighten jack 4 by hand.

Turn the handle several times until the wheel lifts off the ground.

To avoid the risk of injury or damage to the vehicle, raise the jack until the distance between the wheel being changed and the ground is no more than 3 millimetres.

Remove the bolts and take off the wheel.

Place the spare wheel onto the hub and rotate it until the threaded holes in the hub line up with the holes in the wheel rim.

If bolts are supplied with the spare wheel, use them only for the spare wheel.

Tighten the bolts, making sure the wheel is correctly seated against the hub, and lower the jack.

After lowering the vehicle, tighten the wheel bolts firmly and check the tightening torque (tightening torque 105 N·m) and the tyre pressure of the spare wheel as soon as possible.

Anti-theft wheel bolts If you use anti-theft wheel bolts, follow the diagram engraved inside the wheel trim to align the bolt (to allow the trim to be refitted). In case of a puncture, change the wheel immediately. The punctured tyre must be thoroughly inspected (and, if possible
