GENERAL INFORMATION.

Tire, Wheel and Tire Pressure Inspection.

Inspect the tires for abnormal tread wear and

damage. Also check the condition of the wheels. Check tire pressure on

"cold" tires, including the spare tire. Maintain tire pressure

according to the values shown on the label affixed to the driver's door.

Lighting and Warning Indicator Inspection.

Check the operation of the headlights, including high and low beams, front and rear

position lights, parking lights, fog lights, license plate lights, brake lights, including the center high-mounted brake light, turn signals,

reverse light and hazard warning lights.

Checking for Operating Fluid Leaks.

Periodically, after the vehicle has been parked for a long period, check for traces of operating fluid leaks (engine oil, transmission fluid, fuel, brake fluid and coolant). Water dripping from the air conditioning system after it is switched off is normal. If fuel or gasoline vapor leaks are detected, immediately find the cause and correct the malfunction.
