  • Make sure the compressor switch e - Fig. 15 is set to 0 (off), start the engine, plug connector d - Fig. 14 into the power socket, and switch on the compressor by setting switch e - Fig. 15 to I (on). Inflate the tyre to the tyre pressure specified in the "Inflation pressure" section of the "Technical specifications" chapter. For more accurate reading, it is advisable to check the tyre pressure on gauge f - Fig.

  • If the pressure of at least 1.5 bar cannot be reached within 5 minutes, disconnect the compressor from the valve and the power socket, then drive the vehicle approx. 10 metres forwards or backwards so that the sealant can distribute itself inside the tyre, and repeat the procedure;
  • If, even in this case, the pressure of at least 1.8 bar cannot be reached within 5 minutes of switching on the compressor, do not continue driving, as the tyre is too severely damaged and the quick repair kit cannot guarantee the necessary grip. Contact the Fiat service network;
  • If the tyre has been inflated to the correct inflation pressure in accordance with the specification in the "Inflation pressure" section of the "Technical specifications" chapter, drive off immediately;

Note

The label must be clearly visible to the driver to indicate that the tyre has been repaired with fix & go. Drive with caution, especially when cornering. Do not exceed 80 km/h, and avoid heavy acceleration and hard braking.

  • After driving for about 10 minutes, stop and check the tyre pressure again. Remember to apply the parking brake first;
Note

If the tyre pressure drops below 1.8 bar, do not continue driving: the fix & go automatic quick repair kit cannot guarantee the necessary grip, because the tyre is too severely damaged.

Please contact the Fiat service network.

  • If, on the other hand, a pressure of at least 1.8 bar is measured, inflate the tyre to the correct pressure value (engine running and parking brake applied) and continue driving;
  • Carefully drive to the nearest Fiat service network.
Note

Be sure to tell them that the tyre has been repaired with the quick repair kit.

Give the folding leaflet to the personnel who will handle the tyre repaired with the tyre repair kit.
