Winter Tires
Use winter tyres with the same dimensions as the tyres fitted as standard equipment.
The Fiat service network will be happy to advise on the choice of tyre best suited to the customer's intended use.
When choosing the tyre type, inflation pressure and corresponding winter tyre characteristics, strictly observe the information in the “Wheels” section of the “Technical specifications” chapter.
When tread depth is below 4 mm, the winter performance of the tyres decreases significantly. They should therefore be replaced.
Due to the special characteristics of winter tyres, their performance under normal weather conditions or on long motorway journeys is lower than that of the tyres fitted as standard. Winter tyres should therefore only be used for their intended purpose.
Note: when using winter tyres with a speed rating below the maximum speed attainable by the vehicle (increased by 5%), it is recommended to display the maximum permitted speed of these tyres clearly at the driver's position (as required by the EC Directive).
For greater safety when driving, braking, and for stable tracking and steering, fit identical tyres (same make and tread pattern) on all four wheels.
Remember that the direction of rotation of the tyres must not be changed.
NoteThe maximum speed for winter tyres marked “Q” must not exceed 160 km/h; marked “T” must not exceed 190 km/h; marked H must not exceed 210 km/h.
In this respect, the applicable road traffic regulations always take precedence.
