Suitability of passenger seats for use of ISOFIX child seats

The following table, in accordance with European regulation ECE 16, indicates the possibility of installing ISOFIX child seats on seats fitted with the specific anchorages.

IL: suitable for child restraint systems, ISOFIX specific and approved for this type of vehicle.

(*): the ISOFIX child seat can be installed by adjusting the front seat.

X: ISOFIX position not suitable for ISOFIX child restraint systems in this weight group and/or size class.

IUF-IL: suitable for forward-facing ISOFIX child restraint systems of universal category (fitted with a third top tether anchorage), approved for use in the weight group.

NOTE When using Universal ISOFIX child seats, only seats approved with the marking ECE R44 "ISOFIX Universal" (R44/03 or later amendments) may be used.

The other weight groups are covered by specific ISOFIX child seats, which may only be used if specifically tested for this vehicle (see the vehicle list supplied with the child seat).

WARNING The rear centre seat (where fitted, depending on version/market) and the front passenger seat are not approved for any type of ISOFIX child seat.
