Child seats recommended by FCA for your Panda
MOPAR Accessories offers a complete range of child seats to be secured with the three-point seat belt or using ISOFIX anchorages.

WARNING FCA recommends installing the child seat strictly according to the instructions supplied with it.
Key precautions to follow when carrying children safely
- Install child seats on the rear seat, as this is the most protected position in a collision.
- Keep the child seat in the rearward-facing position for as long as possible, ideally until the child is 3-4 years old.
- If a rearward-facing child seat is installed on the rear seats, position it as far forward as possible, compatibly with the position of the front seat.
- When the front passenger airbag is deactivated, always check that the deactivation indicator light
located on the centre of the dashboard, is lit steadily. - Follow the instructions supplied with the child seat carefully. Keep them in the vehicle together with the documents and this handbook. Do not use second-hand child seats without instructions for use.
- Each restraint system is strictly for one child only; never carry two children at the same time in one restraint.
- Always make sure the seat belts do not rest against the child's neck.
- Always check that the seat belts are properly latched by pulling on the webbing.
- During the journey, do not allow the child to adopt abnormal positions or unfasten the seat belts.
- Do not allow the child to put the diagonal part of the seat belt under the arms or behind the back.
- Never carry children on your lap, not even babies. Nobody is able to hold them in a collision.
- If the vehicle has been involved in a moderate-to-severe road accident, replace the child seat with a new one. Also have the ISOFIX anchorages or the seat belt to which the child seat was secured replaced, depending on the type of child seat installed.
- Before installing a child seat of any group facing forward on an outer rear seat, remove the head restraint of the rear seat position where the child seat will be installed. Conversely, before installing on an outer rear seat a child seat consisting of the cushion only (without backrest), make sure the head restraint of the rear seat position where the child seat will be installed is correctly fitted.
89) The obligation to deactivate the airbag when installing a rearward-facing child seat is indicated by the appropriate symbol on the label located on the passenger sun visor. Always follow what is stated on the passenger-side sun visor (see the paragraph "Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) - Airbag").
90) If it is necessary to carry a child on the front passenger seat in a rear-facing child seat, the front and side (Side bag) passenger airbags must be deactivated using the main menu on the display. Check that they have been deactivated by making sure the indicator light on the centre dashboard comes on. Also, the passenger seat must be set to its rearmost position to prevent the child seat from contacting the dashboard.
91) Do not move the front or rear seat when a child is seated in or secured in a child seat.
92) Incorrect installation of a child seat may make the protection system ineffective. In an accident, the child seat could come loose and the child could suffer serious or even fatal injuries. When installing a child restraint system for a baby or child, strictly follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer. 93) When the child restraint system is not in use, secure it with the seat belt or with the ISOFIX anchorages, or remove it from the vehicle. Do not leave it loose inside the passenger compartment. This prevents it from injuring occupants in the event of sudden braking or an accident.
94) After installing a child seat, do not move the seat: always remove the child seat before making any seat adjustment.
95) Always make sure the diagonal part of the seat belt does not pass under the child's arm or behind their back. In an accident, the seat belt will not be able to restrain the child, with the risk of serious or fatal injury.
The child must therefore always wear their seat belt correctly.
96) Do not use the same lower anchorage to install more than one child restraint system.
97) If a universal ISOFIX child seat is not secured with all three anchorages, the seat will not be able to protect the child correctly. In an accident, the child could suffer serious or even fatal injuries.
98) Install the child seat only when the vehicle is stationary. The seat is correctly anchored to the mounting brackets when you hear the clicks confirming it is locked in place.
In all cases, follow the installation, removal and positioning instructions that the child seat manufacturer is required to supply with the seat.
