Windscreen wiper / washer

It operates only with the ignition key in the MAR position.

Dial A fig. 21 can be set to four different positions:

wipers off.

intermittent operation.

continuous slow operation.

continuous fast operation.

Moving the lever upwards (unstable position), operation lasts only for as long as the lever is held manually in that position. When released, the lever returns to its position and the wiper stops automatically.

With dial A fig. 21 in position, the wiper automatically adapts its operating speed to the vehicle speed.

With the wiper active, engaging reverse automatically activates the rear wiper.

"Intelligent washing" function

Pulling the lever toward the steering wheel (unstable position) operates the washer.

Holding the lever pulled for more than half a second automatically activates the windscreen washer jets and the wiper itself with a single movement.

The wiper stops three strokes after the lever is released. The cycle is completed by one wiper stroke about 6 seconds later.
