Reset procedure
The iTPMS system requires an initial "self-learning" phase (its duration depends on driving style and road conditions; the optimal condition is driving in a straight line at a speed of 80 km/h for at least 20 minutes), which starts when the system reset procedure is performed.
The reset procedure must be performed:
- each time the tyre pressure changes or even only one tyre is replaced;
- when the wheels are swapped;
- when the temporary-use spare wheel is fitted.
Before resetting the system, inflate the tyres to the nominal pressure values given in the tyre pressure table (see the "Wheels" section in the "Technical data" chapter).
If the reset is not performed, in all the cases listed above the warning light
may incorrectly indicate an incorrect pressure level in one or more tyres. To perform the reset procedure, with the vehicle stationary and the ignition key in the ON position, carry out the following steps in the settings menu:
- briefly press the MENU/

button; the display will show "Reset"; - press the + or - button to select ("Yes" or "No");
- briefly press the MENU/

button; the display will show "Confirm"; - press the + or - button to select ("Yes" to reset the system or "No" to exit the current screen);
- press the MENU/ button again

hold for longer to return to the standard display or to the main menu, depending on your position in the menu.After performing the reset procedure, the message "Reset saved" will appear on the display, indicating that self-learning has started.
