To access the filler neck, unscrew the cap (fig. 75) by turning it counterclockwise. The filler neck profile is universal and compatible with the "Italy" and "NGV1" standards.

In some European countries, adapters of this type are considered illegal (for example, in Germany).

117) Do not place any object or cap on the fuel filler neck other than the one provided for this vehicle. Using unsuitable objects or caps could cause pressure to build up inside the tank, creating a potential hazard.

118) Do not approach the fuel tank filler with an open flame or a lit cigarette: risk of fire. Do not bring your face close to the fuel filler to avoid inhaling harmful fuel vapours.

119) Do not use a mobile phone near a fuel pump: possible risk of fire.

CAUTION

38) For diesel vehicles, use only automotive diesel fuel complying with European standard EN590. Using other products or mixtures may irreversibly damage the engine, and warranty claims for resulting damage will be void. If the wrong fuel is accidentally added, do not start the engine; completely empty the fuel tank. If the engine is started even briefly, the entire fuel system, apart from the fuel tank, must be emptied.

39) The plates (supplied with the vehicle documents) show the expected date of the first cylinder inspection. Staff at CNG filling stations are not authorised to fill cylinders whose inspection date has expired.
