The device can be switched off by turning knob A to the OFF position, switching off the engine, or pressing the brake pedal, clutch pedal or accelerator pedal (in the last case the system is not switched off completely, and the accelerator request takes priority over the system setting). The device remains active, without the need to press button B (RES) (fig. 71), so that after acceleration ends it returns to its previous state.

Automatic switch-off: the device switches off automatically in the following cases: ABS or ESP activation, vehicle speed below the set limit, cruise control fault.

CAUTION

112) Do not place the gear lever in neutral while driving with the device switched on.

113) In case of incorrect operation or failure of the device, turn knob A to the OFF position and contact an authorised Fiat dealer.
