DTC Fault Trigger Conditions

Trouble Code Description Fault Trigger Condition
PCM P0068:00 MAP / MAF - Throttle Position Correlation: No Sub Type Information Sets during KOEO self-test when the PCM detects that the comparison of readings does not match calibrated load values. An air intake system leak in a hose, line, or connection of any air intake system or PCV system component may cause this DTC to set. The PCM monitors vehicle rationality by comparing the TP sensor with the mass air flow (MAF) sensor (if equipped) or the absolute manifold pressure (MAP) sensor (if equipped). Check for other diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs). Diagnose all other DTCs first.
PCM P0120:00 Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch "A" Circuit: No Sub Type Information Sets when the PCM detects a problem with the TP signal. This concern exhibits a limited power symptom.
PCM P0121:00 Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch "A" Circuit Range/Performance: No Sub Type Information Sets when the PCM detects that the TP 1 sensor circuit is outside the acceptable range in either closed or WOT mode. This concern exhibits a limited power symptom.
PCM P0122:00 Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch "A" Circuit Low: No Sub Type Information Sets when the PCM detects that the TP 1 signal is too low. This concern exhibits a limited power symptom. PCM P0123:00 Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch "A" Circuit High: No Sub Type Information Sets when the PCM detects that the TP 1 signal is too high. This concern exhibits a limited power symptom. A TP1 FID regulator reading above 4.75 V with the ignition on, engine off, or the ignition on and engine running indicates a problem.
PCM P0124:00 Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch "A" Circuit Intermittent: No Sub Type Information Sets when the PCM detects that the TP circuit is intermittently open or shorted. This concern exhibits a limited power symptom.
PCM P0221:00 Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch "B" Circuit Range/Performance: No Sub Type Information Sets when the PCM detects that the TP 2 sensor circuit is out of range either in the closed or WOT mode. This concern exhibits a limited power symptom.
PCM P0222:00 Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch "B" Circuit Low: No Sub Type Information Sets when the PCM detects that the TP 2 signal is too low. This concern exhibits a limited power symptom. TP2 PID reading less than 0.25 V with key on engine off or key on engine running indicates a problem.

This concern exhibits a limited power symptom. TP2 PID reading greater than 4.75 V with key on engine off or key on engine running indicates a problem.
PCM P1124:00 Throttle Position Sensor "A" Out of Self-Test Range: No Sub Type Information Sets when the PCM detects that TP1 or TP2 is greater than the expected value. During KOEO and KOER key on self-tests, the PCM monitors the TP sensor inputs to determine if the TP1 and TP2 signals are less than the expected value. Repeat the self-test without pressing the accelerator pedal. Make sure the floor mat does not interfere with the accelerator pedal. Diagnose any TP circuit diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) first.

PCM P1588:00 Throttle Control Module Detected Loss of Return Spring: No Sub Type Information Sets when the PCM detects that the throttle plate does not return to the default position (soft default position). Visually inspect the throttle body for obstructions.
PCM P2100:00 Throttle Actuator Control Motor "A" Circuit Open: No Sub Type Information This DTC sets when the PCM fault flag indicating an open motor circuit is set.
PCM P2101:00 Throttle Actuator Control Motor "A" Circuit Range/Performance: No Sub Type Information Sets when the PCM detects that the PCM fault flag indicating an open motor circuit is set.
PCM P2107:00 Throttle Actuator Control Module Processor "A": No Sub Type Information Sets when the PCM detects the electronic throttle control area of the PCM has failed the self-test. PCM P2118:00 Throttle Actuator Control Motor "A" Current Range/Performance: No Sub Type Information Sets when the PCM detects a problem with the throttle body TACM electrical circuits. Do not install a new Electronic Throttle Body (ETB) for this DTC. Check for any diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) related to the circuit. Check the TACM+ circuit and the TACM- circuit for a short to ground.

Introduction

Normal Operation and Fault Symptoms

Refer to DTC Fault Trigger Conditions.

Informational diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) are the result of the failure mode effects management strategy that supports limited vehicle function in the event of a problem with the PCM, harness, or component.

Circuit diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) may be accompanied by informational diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) and should be diagnosed first. Informational DTCs without circuit DTCs may or may not indicate an actual problem and should be diagnosed as a symptom.
