The system automatically controls the temperature, air volume and airflow distribution, and adjusts them to driving conditions and weather. Press the AUTO button once to activate automatic mode.

Note: Avoid adjusting the settings when the vehicle interior is very hot or very cold. The automatic heating, ventilation and air conditioning system adjusts the settings to the current conditions automatically. For the system to work correctly, the side and center air vents must be fully open.

Note: The sunlight sensor is located in the upper part of the instrument panel. Do not cover the sensor with any objects.

Note: At low outside temperatures, when the system is in automatic mode, the airflow is directed to the windshield and side windows until the engine warms up.

Setting the temperature

You can set the temperature in the
range from 16ºC to 28ºC in 0.5ºC steps.

In the LO position (below 16ºC), the system switches to constant cooling. In the HI position (above 28ºC), it switches to constant heating and will not maintain a constant temperature.

Blower

The blower speed is shown
on the display.

To return to auto mode, press the AUTO button.

Air distribution

To set the airflow distribution, press the corresponding button. You can select any combination of settings at the same time.

  1. Feet airflow
  2. Face airflow
  3. Windshield

When you select windshield defrosting and demisting, A, B and C switch off automatically and the air conditioning switches on. Outside air will be drawn into the vehicle interior. Air recirculation cannot be selected.

Windshield defrosting and demisting

Press the windshield defrost and demist button. Outside air will be drawn into the vehicle interior. The air conditioning switches on automatically. As long as the airflow distribution is set to this position, air recirculation cannot be selected.

The blower speed and temperature are controlled automatically and cannot be set manually. The blower is set to high speed and the temperature to HI.

When windshield defrosting and demisting is selected, the window heating switches on automatically and switches off again after a short time.

To return to auto mode, press the AUTO button.

Switching the air conditioning on and off

Press the A/C button to
switch the air conditioning on or off. A/C OFF.

appears on the display when the air conditioning is switched off.

When the air conditioning is switched on, A/C ON appears on the display.

Air recirculation

Press the air recirculation button to
toggle between fresh air ventilation and air recirculation.

Note: When the system is in automatic mode and the temperature inside and outside the vehicle is quite high, air recirculation is selected automatically to provide the best possible cooling of the interior. Once the selected temperature is reached, the system automatically switches back to fresh air intake.

Switching off automatic heating, ventilation and air conditioning

Press the OFF button.


When switched off, the heating, ventilation and air conditioning system does not operate and air recirculation is set.
