WARNING

The occupant protection system provides optimum protection only when the seat belts are used correctly.

Note: The front passenger sports seat is not fitted with a seat belt reminder.

If the driver's or front passenger's seat belt is not fastened and the vehicle speed exceeds a certain limit, the seat belt reminder warning lamp will illuminate and an audible warning will sound. The lamp will also illuminate if the driver's or front passenger's seat belt is unfastened while driving.

The audible warning will switch off after five minutes, but the seat belt reminder warning lamp will remain on until the driver's and front passenger's seat belts are fastened.
