Automatic wipers
NOTES
Do not switch on the automatic wipers in dry weather. The rain sensor is very sensitive, and the wipers may activate if it detects dirt, mist or insects on the windscreen.
Replace the wiper blades as soon as they start to leave water streaks and smear dirt. If you do not replace them, the rain sensor will continue to detect water on the windscreen and the wipers will keep working even when most of the glass is dry.
In freezing conditions, the windscreen must be completely defrosted before switching on the automatic wipers.
Switch off the automatic wipers before driving through a car wash

- High sensitivity
- On
- Low sensitivity
When you switch on the automatic wipers, the wipers will not move until water is detected on the windscreen. From then on, the rain sensor will continuously measure the amount of water on the windscreen and automatically adjust the wiper speed.
Adjust the rain sensor sensitivity using the dial. At low sensitivity, the wipers will operate when the sensor detects a large amount of water on the windscreen. At high sensitivity, the wipers will operate when the sensor detects a small amount of water on the windscreen.
