The system will warn you of unauthorized entry into your vehicle. It will trigger if any door, luggage compartment, or hood is opened without using the key, remote control, or keypad.

The turn signal indicators will flash and the horn will sound if an unauthorized entry attempt is made while the alarm is armed.

Take all remote controls to an authorized dealer if there is any potential alarm problem with your vehicle.

Arming the Alarm

The alarm is ready to arm when there is no key in your vehicle. Lock your vehicle with the electronic lock to arm the alarm.

Disarming the Alarm

Disarm the alarm using one of the following methods:

  • Unlock the doors or luggage compartment with the remote control or keypad.
  • Turn the ignition on or start the vehicle.
  • Use the key in the driver door to open your vehicle, then turn the ignition on within 12 seconds.
