Use the information display to create a MyKey.

  1. Turn the ignition on with the key or transmitter you want to program. If your vehicle has a push-button start, place the transmitter in the backup slot.
  2. Access the main menu in the information display, then scroll through the menu to begin programming your MyKey.
  3. Follow the instructions on the display.
  4. A confirmation message appears in the display after programming your MyKey is complete. The programmed restrictions apply when you turn the ignition off, open and close the driver door, and restart your vehicle with the programmed key or transmitter.

You can also program additional MyKey settings.

Programming or Changing Customizable Settings

  1. Use the information display to program or change additional MyKey settings.
  2. Turn the ignition on with the key or transmitter you want to program.
  3. Access the main menu in the information display, then scroll through the menu to change your MyKey settings.
  4. Follow the instructions on the display.
  5. A confirmation message will appear in the information display after programming is complete. Your MyKey restrictions apply when you switch off the ignition, open and close the driver's door, and restart the vehicle with a programmed key or transmitter.
