DANGER

Do not use fluids other than the recommended brake fluid, as they may reduce braking efficiency. Using the wrong fluid could cause loss of vehicle control, resulting in serious accidents that could even be fatal.

Use only brake fluid taken from a sealed container. Contamination caused by dirt, water, petroleum-based products or other materials can damage the braking system or cause malfunctions. Failure to observe this warning could cause loss of vehicle control, resulting in serious or even fatal personal injury.

Avoid contact of the coolant with skin or eyes. Rinse the affected area immediately if this occurs and consult a doctor without delay.

A fluid level between the MAX and MIN marks is required for normal operation and no topping up is necessary. If the fluid level is not within normal operating limits, system performance may be compromised. Have the vehicle checked immediately.

To prevent fluid contamination, the reservoir cap must always be fitted and fully tightened when no fluid is being added.

Use only fluid that meets Ford specifications. See Technical Specifications.

Washer Fluid Check

When topping up, use a mixture of washer fluid and water to prevent freezing at low temperatures and to improve cleaning performance. For information on diluting the fluid, refer to the product instructions. It is recommended to use only high-quality washer fluid.

Note: The reservoir supplies both the windscreen washer and rear window washer systems.
