DANGER

Extreme danger! Never use a rear-facing child seat on a seat protected by an active airbag located in front of it. The child could suffer serious injuries, sometimes fatal.

Deactivate the passenger airbag when using a rear-facing child seat on the front passenger seat.

After removing the child seat, reactivate the passenger airbag. See Passenger airbag.

DANGER

Secure children under 150 cm in height in an approved child restraint system on the rear seat.

Always read and follow the manufacturer's instructions when installing a child seat.

Never modify child seats in any way.

Do not restrain a child with your own seat belt while the vehicle is moving.

Never leave children or animals alone in the vehicle. Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious or fatal injury.

If the vehicle is involved in an accident, have the child seats checked.

Note: Children must be properly restrained in a rear seat whenever possible.

Note: Mandatory use of child seats varies by country.
