If any of the following conditions is not met, do not use the towing hitch and have it checked by an authorised dealer.

Before starting your journey, check that the towing hitch is correctly locked. Verify that:
  • the green marks are aligned
  • the roller (A) is correctly fitted to the towing hitch ball arm
  • the key (B) has been removed
  • the towing hitch is firmly secured.

Note: Disconnect the trailer.
  1. Remove the protective cap. Press the cap into the key handle. Insert the key and unlock.
  2. Hold the towing hitch steady. Pull out the roller and turn it clockwise as far as it will go.
  3. Remove the towing hitch.
  4. Let the knob click into place.
When unlocked in this way, the towing hitch can be reinserted at any time.
