Never unlock the towing hitch while a trailer is attached.

Remove the towing hitch. Insert the socket into its seat (1).

Remove the towing hitch and protect its seat with a cap before cleaning the vehicle with steam jets.

Keep the system clean. Periodically lubricate bearings, sliding surfaces and locking balls with resin-free grease or oil, and secure with graphite.

If lost, replacement keys can be ordered from the manufacturer by quoting the lock cylinder number.
