When fitting winter tyres, inflate them to the same tyre pressures shown in the tyre pressure table. See Technical Specifications.

Using snow chains

DANGER

Do not accelerate 50 km/h.

Do not use snow chains on roads without snow.

Fit snow chains only on the specified tyres. See Tyre pressures.

If the vehicle wheels are fitted with studs, remove them before fitting snow chains.

Use only snow chains of no more than 7 millimetres.

Use snow chains on the front wheels only.

Note: The anti-lock braking system will continue to operate normally.

Vehicles with stability control

When stability control is switched on, some vehicle handling characteristics may feel unusual. To reduce this, switch off traction control. See Using Stability Control.
