SRS Warning Light Operation

~1min read

подушек безопасности предназначен для предупреждения водителя о неисправности подушекThe SRS warning light is designed to warn the driver of a malfunction in the airbags, sensors, and seat belt pretensioners.

For vehicles equipped with the Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), this light also warns of a malfunction in the advanced seat belt pretensioners.

When the ignition switch is turned to ON (II), this light comes on briefly and then goes off. This indicates that the system is operating normally.

However, if this light comes on at any other time, or if it does not come on at all when the ignition is turned on, have the system inspected at an authorized dealer service department. For example:

• The SRS light does not come on when the ignition switch is turned to ON (II).

• The light remains on after the engine is started.

• The light comes on while driving and stays on or flashes.

In addition, the following symbol appears on the multi-information display:«CHECK SYSTEM» (Проверьте систему).This may be accompanied by the message "CHECK SYSTEM."

If any of the above symptoms are present, the airbag and seat belt pretensioner system is not functioning properly and may not provide protection when needed.

Ignoring an illuminated SRS warning light may result in serious injury or death to the driver and passengers due to airbag or seat belt pretensioner failure.

If the SRS warning light comes on, have the system diagnosed and repaired by an authorized Honda dealer as soon as possible.
