Audio system theft protection
For vehicles equipped with a standard audio system
Disconnecting the audio system from the power source will lock the system. To unlock the system, enter the four-digit code using the preset buttons (icons on vehicles equipped with a navigation system). Since there are hundreds of possible code combinations, it is practically impossible to unlock the system without knowing the correct code.
When the audio system is installed in your vehicle, you receive a special card with the security code and serial number of your audio system. We strongly recommend that you keep this card at home in a safe and secure place. Write the serial number of your audio system in this manual.

If the battery is disconnected or discharged, the audio system automatically switches to protected mode. In this case, when the system is turned on again, the message "ENTER CODE" will appear in the radio frequency display area. Enter the code using the radio preset buttons. If the vehicle is equipped with a navigation system, press the center icon, then the Done icon to enter the code. You should have received a card with the secret code together with your vehicle. After entering the correct code, the audio system will operate.
If you lose the card, you can obtain the secret code from your dealer. You will need the serial number of the audio system.

If you make a mistake while entering the code, do not try to correct the incorrectly entered digit immediately. Finish entering the sequence of digits, then enter the correct code. You have ten attempts to enter the code. If you cannot enter the correct code within ten attempts, you must wait 1 hour before trying again.
Your favorite AM and FM radio station presets will be retained even if the battery is disconnected.
