Except for the SVC function, when the middle position is reached, the "C" indicator appears on the display. Each time a setting reaches its maximum, minimum, or middle value, an audible beep sounds.

10 seconds after setting is complete, the system automatically returns to the normal display mode.

Speed-Dependent Volume Compensation (SVC)

The SVC function is used to automatically change the audio system volume level depending on vehicle speed. As vehicle speed increases, the audio system volume level increases. As vehicle speed decreases, the audio system volume level decreases.

The SVC function has four modes: SVC OFF (SVC function off), SVC LOW (low volume compensation), SVC MID (medium volume compensation), and SVC HIGH (high volume compensation). Turn the VOL/SELECT knob to adjust the setting.

If the volume level seems too high, select a low volume compensation level. If the volume level seems too low, select a high volume compensation level.

Audio System Control Panel Illumination

You can adjust the brightness of the audio system control panel illumination with the instrument panel dimmer control. The illumination operates when the parking lights are on, even if the audio system is off.
