Accessories

~1min read

An authorized Honda dealer can offer you a wide range of genuine optional accessories that will personalize your vehicle. All accessories offered by authorized dealers have been specifically designed for your vehicle and approved for its use.

Accessories made by third-party companies may fit your vehicle, however their characteristics may not meet the required specifications, which can lead to deterioration of handling, vehicle stability and reliability.

Installing accessories that are not suitable for this vehicle may adversely affect handling and vehicle stability and cause a serious traffic accident.

When installing accessories or modifying the vehicle, strictly follow the instructions given in this Owner's Manual.

Accessories installed on the vehicle, such as a mobile phone, security alarm system, two-way radio, radio antenna, audio system, etc., must not interfere with the vehicle's electronic devices, such as the airbags and the anti-lock brake system.

Before installing any accessory on the vehicle:

• Make sure it does not obstruct visibility, cover lights, or affect the normal operation of any vehicle systems.

• Make sure that additional electrical equipment does not overload the vehicle's electrical system (page 552) and does not degrade the operation of its systems.

• Do not install accessories on the vehicle's front or rear side window pillars. Accessories installed in these locations may interfere with the normal operation of the side curtain airbags.

• Have the installer of any additional electrical equipment coordinate with an authorized Honda dealer. Whenever possible, have an authorized Honda dealer check the quality of the accessory installation on the vehicle.
