Use fuel appropriate for the climatic conditions in which the vehicle is operated. Using unsuitable fuel may result in reduced engine output. In this case, the message "PGM-FI" may appear on the multi-information display.

At very low ambient temperatures, peak engine output during starting may be limited.

This helps ensure proper fuel delivery for normal engine operation.

To prevent fuel selection errors, the fuel filler cap is marked "Ultra Low Sulfur DIESEL" (Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel fuel).
