Opening and Closing the Sunroof

To open or close the sunroof (manual slide function), move the sunroof control lever rearward or forward to the first stop position.

To open the sunroof (automatic opening function), pull the sunroof control lever rearward to the second detent position.

The sunroof will move to the recommended open position before the maximum open position of the sunshade.

To stop the sunroof at any point during movement, press the sunroof control lever immediately.

To fully open the sunroof, press the lever once more toward the rear of the vehicle and hold it until the sunroof is fully open.

Information

To reduce wind noise while driving, we recommend driving with the sunroof at the recommended position before the maximum open position of the sunshade.

Automatic Reverse

If an object or a part of the body is detected while the sunroof glass is closing automatically, it will reverse direction and then stop.

The automatic reverse function does not operate if a small obstruction is between the sliding glass and the sunroof frame. Always make sure all passengers and objects are clear of the sunroof before closing it.

WARNING

Small objects that may become caught between the sliding glass and the sunroof frame may not be detected by the automatic reverse system. In this case, the sunroof glass will not detect the object and will not reverse direction.
