COOLING SYSTEM HOSES AND PIPES - COMPONENTS

INSPECTION

Inspect the coolant hoses and pipes for cracks, damage, or deposits on their inner walls.

Replace if necessary.

INSTALLATION

1. Fit a new O-ring onto the cooling system inlet pipe, apply a small amount of coolant or water to its outer surface, then install the pipe in place.

1. Do not allow engine oil or grease to get on the O-ring surface of the cooling system pipe.

2. Do not allow sand, dust, etc. to get into the connection points of the cooling system inlet pipe.

3. Insert the cooling system inlet pipe into the coolant pump until it stops.

4. Do not install a used O-ring. Replace the removed O-ring with a new one.
