If the sunroof detects an obstacle while closing automatically, it will reverse direction and then stop to allow the object to be cleared.
WARNING
- Make sure the head, other body parts, or other objects are safely clear of the sunroof before closing it to avoid injury or vehicle damage. Objects less than 0.16 in (4 mm) in diameter between the sunroof glass and the front glass channel may not be detected by the auto reverse function, and the glass will not stop and reverse direction.
- To avoid serious injury or death, do not extend your head, arms, or body outside the sunroof while the vehicle is moving.
- The panoramic sunroof glass is made of glass, so it may break in an accident. If you do not fasten your seat belt, you may be thrown out of the broken glass and be injured or killed. For the safety of all passengers, always use proper restraints (for example, seat belts, child restraint systems, etc.).
CAUTION
- Periodically remove dirt that may accumulate on the sunroof guide rails or between the sunroof and the roof panel.
- Do not attempt to open the sunroof when the temperature is below freezing or when the sunroof is covered with snow or ice, as the motor may be damaged.
✽ NOTICE
After washing the vehicle or driving in heavy rain, be sure to wipe off all water on the sunroof before operating it.
